Ryanair announces 44th base at Seville

Ryanair announced (22-Jul-2010) plans to open a base at Seville - its 44th base - in Nov-2010. The carrier will base two aircraft and offer 29 routes (including 10 new routes to Bari, Eindhoven, London Gatwick, Marseille, Palma, Paris, Santiago, Valencia, Venice Treviso and Zaragoza) from the airport. The carrier added that it would offer more than 250 weekly return flights to/from Seville in an investment in the airport worth more than USD140 million. The carrier expects to increase traffic at Seville to 1.5 million passengers p/a. Ryanair, meanwhile, released 500,000 EUR3 seats across its European network for travel in Sep-2010 and Oct-2010.
