Rosaviatsiya reports first increase in pax for Russian carriers since Feb-2016

Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) reported (10-Nov-2016) the following traffic highlights for Russian carriers in Oct-2016, according to preliminary data:

• Passenger numbers: 7.8 million, up 4%;
• Revenue passenger kilometres: 18,572 million, +2.4%;
• Load factor: 78.8%, +0.8pp.

The top five carriers by passenger numbers, Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, Rossiya - Russian Airlines, UTair Aviation and Ural Airlines increased passenger numbers by 35.3% year-on-year in Oct-2016. [more - original PR - Russian]
