Rolls-Royce launched the Trent 1000 XE with durability enhancements, including a re-designed high pressure turbine blade cooling system, aimed at increasing engine time on wing and reducing emissions1. The upgraded Trent 1000 HPT blade received certification in June 2025 and began fitting to both new and in-service engines across its MRO network2. The next phase of durability improvements is scheduled for certification by the end of 20252.
