Qatar Airways Atlanta service to be 'salt in the wound' for Delta Air Lines

Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker, speaking at a press conference for the launch of Doha-Sydney service, said (03-Mar-2016) the airline's Dubai-Atlanta service, scheduled to commence in Jun-2016, will "rub a little bit of salt in the wound of Delta." Mr Al Baker accused Delta Air Lines of waging a "proxy war" against Middle East carriers on behalf of its European partners.
