Qantas stated talks with its the Australian Licensed Aircraft Engineers Association have been postponed pending a conciliation hearing with Fair Work Australia (The Australian, 06-May-2011). Qantas requested the hearing last week following a deadlock in negotiations. The union is still considering what industrial action it would take if there was no progress with the airline.
