Qantas Group grows 400% in Southwest Pacific since COVID-19

Qantas Group head of commercial strategy and performance Scott Zeglin, speaking at Routes Asia 2025, stated (25-Mar-2025) the carrier invested heavily in the Southwest Pacific since the COVID-19 pandemic, with capacity up by about 400%. Mr Zeglin said the airline has expanded to "markets that we didn't serve pre-COVID with our own metal". He said the Southwest Pacific connections provide domestic and international network feed and "great economic benefit" for the countries served.
