Qantas CEO: Qantas Group's A321XLR order 'opens up' new destinations

Qantas CEO Alan Joyce, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit, stated (07-Aug-2019), the carrier's A321XLR order "opens up" new destinations for the airline. Mr Joyce reported the carrier is planning to launch Melbourne-Singapore and Cairns-Tokyo routes with the introduction of the aircraft. According to the CAPA Fleet Database, the group has ordered 36 of the type.
