President Obama to announce plan to renew and expand America's roads, railways and runways

US President Barack Obama announced a six-year, USD50 billion comprehensive infrastructure plan to expand and renew roads, railways and runways in the US (MarketWatch, 06-Sep-2010). The plan would build on the investments already made under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and also create jobs for US workers to strengthen the US economy.
