Police arrest two more DGCA officials over fake pilot scandal

India's Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Chand stated two more officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the country's aviation regulator, were arrested in New Delhi for helping pilots obtain commercial pilot licences with forged documents (IANS/DHNS/PTI, 06-Apr-2011). "They were arrested for helping pilots Hiren Nagar and Abhishek Kaushik, who were held recently, get commercial pilot licences," the deputy commissioner said. Three DGCA staffers have been arrested and 13 people including pilots have been arrested in connection with the case.
