Philippines House Committee on Tourism calls on PAL employees to cancel strike

The Philippines' House Committee on Tourism members have called on Philippine Airlines employees to cancel plans for strike action, stating the move is the last thing the country’s tourism industry needs as it continued to suffer from the recent hostage incident involving Hong Kong tourists (INQUIRER.net, 08-Sep-2010). They also called on PAL and employee unions to continue negotiation.
