Philippine Airlines: A350 will allow resumption of nonstop US East Coast services

Philippine Airlines senior financial advisor Ian Reid, speaking at the CAPA Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 2016, said (03-Mar-2016) the arrival of the A350s will allow the carrier to resume nonstop services to the East Coast of the US. Mr Reid noted: "At the moment we can only go to New York via Vancouver and the [Boeing] 777 and A340 don't have the range to do it, though the A350s will."
