Philadelphia airport's USD5.2bn project to construct fifth runway

US' Philadelphia International Airport announced its USD5.2 billion expansion project calls for the construction of a fifth runway and the extension of two of the airport's existing runways (The Philadelphia Inquirer, 09-May-2010). Construction work will reportedly be paid for by Philadelphia revenue bonds, passenger-facility charges and grants from the FAA.
