Passenger revenues up in Aug-2010, pace of growth slows from Jul-2010

Air Transport Association of America (ATA) stated (20-Sep-2010) US airlines reported a 17% year-on-year increase in passenger revenue in Aug-2010, the eighth consecutive month of revenue growth. According to the industry trade organisation, US airlines transported 1% more passengers in Aug-2010 while cargo traffic, measured in cargo revenue ton miles, rose 15% in Jul-2010. [more]
