Japan's Osaka Kansai International Airport passenger numbers up 21% - traffic highlights for Aug-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 1.7 million, +20.8% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 511,184, +26.8%;
    • International: 1.2 million, +18.4%;
  • Cargo volume: 58,455 tons, +3.2%;
    • Domestic: 2678, -21.4%;
    • International: 55,777, +4.7%;
  • Aircraft movements: 11,368, +21.4%;
    • Domestic: 3790, +32.6%;
    • International: 7578, +16.4%.
