OAG reports 6% rise in Nov-2010 global seat capacity

OAG reports (11-Nov-2010) global airline capacity and frequency in Nov-2010 will increase 6% and 4% year-on-year, respectively. Details include:

  • Global: capacity +6%, scheduled services +4% year-on-year;
    • Within North America: +3%, 1%;
    • To/from North America: +4%, +1%;
    • Within Europe: +4%, +3%;
    • To/from Europe: +12%, +12%;
    • Within Middle East: +11%, +11%;
    • To/from Middle East: +17%, +16%;
    • Within Asia: +7%, +7%;
    • To/from Asia: +12%, +13%;
    • Within Africa: +8%, +11%;
    • To/from Africa: +17%, +16%;
    • Within Central and South America: +6%, +5%;
