New Irish Minister plans to axe tax

Ireland's Minister Leo Varadkar, who holds the merged tourism, transport and sport positions, stated he wants to see Aer Lingus and Ryanair reopen services which have been closed in return for dropping the EUR3 tourist tax (Press Association/Irish Independent, 10-Mar-2011).
