New extension of Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport goes into operation

Lufthansa stated (10-Oct-2012) at 09:50, as scheduled, the first aircraft pushed back from the new Pier A-Plus at Germany's Frankfurt International Airport on 10-Oct-2012. There were a total of 13 flight departures scheduled for the day. The new terminal area, which will be used exclusively by Lufthansa and its partners, has gone into operation on schedule, after almost four years of construction.
