NATS traffic up 0.5% in Feb-2011

UK's NATS reports airspace traffic up 0.5% - traffic highlights in Feb-2011:

• Airspace movements: 150,811, +0.5%;
• Trans-Atlantic arrivals/departures: 8687, +4.1%;
• Trans-Atlantic overflights: 13,257, +10.9%'
• Other arrivals/departures: 91,709, +1.2%;
• Other overflights: 6931, -2.1%;
• Domestic: 29,986, -5.2%.

NATS said "the [Feb-2011] increase needs to be set against the context of widespread disruption caused by snow and ice during February 2010, making this year's figures appear more positive."
