Nassau Airport Development Company states Phase 1 of construction ahead of schedule

Bahama's Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) President and CEO, Craig Richmond, stated Phase 1 of Nassau Lynden Pindling International Airport's redevelopment is ahead of schedule and under budget (The Freeport News, 01-Jun-2010). The USD409 million project commenced in Jul-2009. Phase 1 includes the construction of a new US Departures Terminal, which is 41% complete. The phase is expected to become operational in spring 2011. A second terminal is to open in 2012 and a third in 2013.
