Mumbai Airport announces 5% increase in Jan-2012 pax, cargo down 10%

India's Mumbai Airport passenger numbers up 5.3% - traffic highlights for Jan-2012:

Passenger numbers: 2.8 million, +5.3% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 1.9 million, +4.1%;
- International: 902,329, +7.7%;
Cargo volume: 49,838 tonnes, -9.8%;
- Domestic: 15,304, -6.7%;
- International: 34,534, -11.1%;
Aircraft movements: 21,655, +3.9%;
- Domestic: 15,404, +3.7%;
- International: 6251, +4.3%.
