MTU Aero Engines revenue up 3.8% in 1Q2011

MTU Aero Engines reports (03-May-2011) the following financial highlights for the 3 months ended Mar-2011:

• Revenue: EUR664.8 million, +3.8% year-on-year;
• EBIT: EUR80.5 million, +17%;
• Net income: EUR40.4 million, +0.7%. [more]

MTU Aero Engines: "The growth in operating profit exceeds our forecast for the year as a whole, while net income has remained stable as expected. We expect the revenue growth rate to increase in the course of the year, as the sales mix variance continues to evolve.
