Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation: Design changes will not affect MRJ performance

Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation reported (Jan-2017) design changes planned for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) will not affect aircraft performance, fuel consumption, or functionality of systems. The company needs to make revisions of certain systems and electrical configurations on the aircraft to meet the latest requirements for certification, which has pushed back planned entry into service from mid-2018 to mid-2020.
