Malindo Air to add 10 aircraft in 2017, including three A330s
Malindo Air GM commercial strategy Saravanan Ramasamy, speaking at the CAPA Fleet & Finance Summit said (02-Mar-2017) the carrier plans to add two ATR aircraft, five Boeing 737s and three A330-300s in 2017. The A330s are expected in 4Q2017 and will enable routes to Australia and China. The airline's fleet will total 52 aircraft at the end of 2017, comprising 18 turboprops, 31 narrowbody and three widebody aircraft. The fleet grew 56% to 42 aircraft in 2016 and the airline aims to expand to 100 aircraft in the next 10 years.
