Malaysia Airlines CEO questions low cost long haul

Malaysia Airlines CEO Peter Bellew, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit, questioned (01-Aug-2017) the long haul low cost business model, stating: "Long haul planes are damned expensive to run". Mr Bellew said long haul routes are difficult to operate successfully without premium passengers.
