Lufthansa-United JV drove traffic growth between US and Germany: Star Alliance CEO

Star Alliance CEO Mark Schwab, speaking at the CAPA Airlines In Transition Summit, attributed (10-Mar-2016) growth in traffic between the US and Germany to the 1996 JV between Lufthansa and United Airlines. Mr Schwab said the agreement opened more markets and provided better frequencies.
