Lufthansa Group launched a "TO Green" fare for tour operator bookings, building on its "Green Fares" product introduced in spring 2023, and said over five per cent of customers selected sustainable travel options in 2025 (up from 0.1% in 2021).1 It also reported that over 1680 companies invested in sustainable aviation fuel with it in 2025.1 Lufthansa Group also planned to expand its OPS Sustainability fuel efficiency programme, targeting 50,000 tonnes p/a of CO2 reductions by 2028, after implementing over 90 measures since 2022 that saved about 54,000 tonnes of kerosene and avoided around 170,000 tonnes of CO2.2
