Lufthansa Group operating loss more than doubles, net loss improves in 1Q2012

Lufthansa Group reported (02-May-2012) a widening operating loss from EUR169 million in 1Q2012 to EUR381 million despite a 5.6% year-on-year increase in revenue to EUR6300 million for the three months ended 31-Mar-2012. The group also reported a net loss of EUR397 million, compared to a net loss of EUR507 million in the previous corresponding period, based on preliminary results.
