US' Los Angeles International Airport announced the following traffic highlights in Aug-2011:

Passenger numbers: 5,918,524, +5.4%;
- Domestic: 4,311,627, +5.1%;
- International: 1,606,897, +6.0%;
Cargo volume: 153,644, -4.1%;
- Freight: 148,279, -4.0%;
- Mail: 5365, -6.1%;
Aircraft movements: 54,581, +7.0%.
