Lion Group reports on expansion plans for Batam Aero Technic MRO facility

Lion Group safety director Jose Fernandez, speaking at the CAPA Aviation Training & Safety Summit, announced (03-Aug-2016) plans to expand the group's Batam Aero Technic MRO facility from 40,000sqm with 12 aircraft service bays to 120,000sqm with over 30 bays. As previously reported by CAPA, CFM International is working with Lion Group for project management and advising services for the facility's construction. Mr Fernandez confirmed the expansion will also include a 10,000sqm logistics facility.
