Lion Air has been transporting Hajj pilgrims since 2009 and received government approval to continue this service in 20252. Garuda Indonesia also planned to provide 14 aircraft specifically for Hajj operations in 2025, indicating a significant fleet preparation to handle potential irregularities3.
