Lima Airport issues and EOI for the construction of new terminal

Lima Airport Partners, via its official LinkedIn account, issued (24-Apr-2020) an expression of interest for engineering, procurement and construction of Lima Jorge Chavez International Airport's new passenger terminal, access roads, apron and utilities farm. The contract will also include baggage handling system, passenger bag screening, aerobridges, travelators and taxiways. The tender process timeline is as follows:

• EOI deadline: 14-May-2020;
• Pre-qualification and invitation to tender: May-2020;
• Proposals receipt: Aug-2020;
• Award: Nov-2020;
• Mobilisation: Dec-2020;
• Completion: 2Q2024.

The design of the new passenger terminal was elaborated by AECOM, who will provide support during the tender process. This terminal is a three storey, 250,000sqm building with over 120 check-in counters and 50 contact stands.
