LAX to increase security after Frankfurt attack

US' Los Angeles International Airport announced plans to increase security in the wake of a terror attack at Germany's Frankfurt Airport (BNO News, 06-Mar-2011). The Germany attack resulted in the death of two US airmen and two others injured. The LAX Police Department stated it trains its officers on the tactics and methods used by contemporary terrorists including target acquisition, pre-attack surveillance and supply procurement.
