Las Vegas Airport expects route, capacity growth to continue through 2016

Las Vegas McCarran International Airport director of aviation Rosemary Vassiliadis, speaking at CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) the airport served 45.4 million passengers in 2015, and expects the trend to extend through 2016. The airport is second only to Los Angeles in origin and destination traffic, she noted, with new services coming from outside the US. Las Vegas expects route and capacity growth to continue in 2016, which "could be the busiest year in our history," she concluded.
