Lao Airlines received its second 89 seat COMAC C909 on 01-Sep-2025, after taking delivery of its first in Mar-2025, and initially planned to deploy the type on Vientiane-Nong Khang service1. It also announced plans to operate the C909 on Vientiane-Bokeo from 11-Aug-20252. The C909 was delivered on a lease basis, with domestic routes in Laos being the initial deployment focus3.
