Lao Airlines also planned to deploy the COMAC C909 on Vientiane-Bokeo service from 11-Aug-2025, following the initial operation of the aircraft on Vientiane-Pakse routes and intentions to gradually introduce it on international services in the future1 2. The government of Laos was considering a proposal for COMAC to acquire a majority stake in the airline, with asset valuation and debt exclusion under review3.
