Kenya Airways pax numbers up 5.2% in 4QFY2012, cargo up 4.1%

Kenya Airways reports (30-Apr-2012) the following traffic highlights for the three months ended Mar-2012:

• Passenger numbers: 832,366, +5.2% year-on-year;
  • Europe: 113,184, -4.1%;
  • Middle East, Far East and India: 117,543, +6.0%;
  • Within Africa (excluding Kenya): 419,877, +8.3%;
  • Within Kenya: 181,762, +4.2%;
• Passenger load factor: 68.1%, +1.4 ppts;
  • Europe: 70.5%, +0.8 ppt;
  • Middle East, Far East and India: 74.6%, stable;
  • Within Africa (excluding Kenya): 62.2%, +2.8 ppts;
  • Within Kenya: 73.5%, +9.7 ppts;
