Kent International Airport reduces scale of 25-year expansion plans

UK's Kent International Airport reportedly reduced the scale of its 25-year expansion plans, due to the global financial downturn, including the cancellation of plans for a passenger service expansion project (AirportSmart, 14-Dec-2009). The airport now expects passenger numbers to reach 2.2 million p/a by 2018, compared to its previous estimate of 2.7 million passengers p/a.
