Jetstar Pacific has no plans to establish leasing arm

Jetstar Pacific COO Leslie Stephens, speaking at the CAPA Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 2016, said (03-Mar-2016) it has no plans to establish a leasing arm. Mr Stephens explained: "With Qantas when they purchase aircraft they always do individual SLBs to get the best deal," adding: "There's Vietnam Airlines Leasing Corporation so it's been thought of before yes, but not on the Qantas side."
