Jetstar Hong Kong said the start-up carrier plans to commence services in 2013 with short-haul routes within five hours initially including services to cities in China, Japan, South Korea and other Southeast Asian countries (Takungpao, 29-Sep-2012). The carrier also said it will offer fares on average of up to 50% cheaper than existing full service options.
