Jet Airways seeking to lease aircraft to up to five foreign carriers
Jet Airways reportedly announced it is in talks with four to five foreign carriers to lease out two of its B777 aircraft, generating approximately USD4 million revenue per month (DNA, 15-Sep-09). Most on the aircraft will be available on dry lease agreements. Jet Airways already has a lease agreement with Turkish Airlines for four aircraft and Gulf Air for three aircraft, which is scheduled to expire in Oct-2009.
