Japan MLIT reported (31-May-2012) the following traffic highlights in Feb-2012:

• Passenger numbers:
  • Domestic: 6.2 million, +0.7% year-on-year;
  • International: 1.1 million, +11.0%;
    • China: 223,037, +25.0%;
    • South Korea: 146,668, +1.5%;
    • Other Asia: 379,416, +11.7%;
    • Americas: 113,451, +8.4%;
    • Pacific Ocean: 113,111, -4.3%;
    • Europe: 99,763, +22.2%;
    • Oceania: 11,770, -0.5%;
• Passenger load factor:
  • Domestic: 62.2%, -2.3 ppts;
  • International: 75.0%, +2.5 ppts;
• Cargo volume:
  • Domestic: 68,280 tonnes, +5.8%;
  • International: 90,587 tonnes, +20.5%;
    • China: 14,048 tonnes, +25.1%;
    • South Korea: 4729 tonnes, +15.7%;
    • Other Asia: 36,648 tonnes, +25.5%;
    • Americas: 22,191 tonnes, +16.3%;
    • Pacific Ocean: 1467 tonnes, +31.3%;
    • Europe: 11,322 tonnes, +10.1%;
