Japan arrivals 'booming' but airports can be constrained: JAL VP

Japan Airlines (JAL) VP and advisor to managing executive officer of sales and marketing Kentaro Dobashi, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Asia, stated (02-Oct-2026) "Japan is currently booming" for international visitor numbers, but added: "The airports are also constrained". Mr Dobashi said there can be challenges in securing "commercially viable slots" in Japan.
