Japan and Macau conclude open sky agreement

Japan's MLIT stated (15-Jul-2011) Japan and Macau agreed at talks to expand routes based on Tokyo Narita Airport. With this agreement, Narita routes in the summer of 2012 will be increased from the current three to seven weekly services and when the number of slots at Narita is increased to 270,000 in summer 2013, further liberalisation of air transport between the countries in/out of Narita will be realised. "Beyond rights" from airports other than Tokyo metropolitan airports were also approved. No slots at Haneda Airport were decided at this agreement.
