Japan Airlines took delivery of its 11th A350-1000 on 27-Feb-2026, with the type configured for 239 seats across four classes (six first, 54 business, 24 premium economy and 155 economy).1 It previously introduced the A350-1000 on Tokyo Haneda-New York JFK from 24-Jan-2024 and later deployed it on Tokyo Haneda-London Heathrow from 24-Oct-2024, replacing Boeing 777-300 equipment on select frequencies.2 3 Japan Airlines also ordered 21 additional A350-900s, with one due in FY2025 to replace an A350-900 lost in a Jan-2024 collision, and the remaining 20 from FY2027 for international growth.4
