Intra-Asia connections 'crucial', barriers remain in cooperation with Tigerair: Scoot CEO

Scoot CEO Campbell Wilson, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (07-Aug-2014) the airline requires connections to short-haul and regional services through Singapore, stating, "short-haul intra-Asia is crucial." Mr Wilson highlighted antitrust barriers and technical and staff alignment as obstacles to increased connectivity between Scoot and Tigerair.
