Air India and India’s Ministry of Tourism signed an MoU to promote India as a global tourism destination and support transit and stopover tourism, aligned with Air India’s hub development at Delhi and Mumbai.1 IndiGo’s MD Rahul Bhatia stated it planned its most significant international expansion over the next decade, investing in fleet, technology and infrastructure to build a global network originating from India.2
