ILFC’s President and CEO resigns

International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) and American International Group (AIG) announced (29-Mar-2010) that John Plueger, ILFC President and CEO, will retire, effective immediately. ILFC Vice Chairman and CFO, Alan Lund, will succeed Mr Plueger as ILFC's interim President and CEO, while AIG conducts a search for a permanent successor. In addition, ILFC Senior VP Finance, Fred Cromer, will succeed Mr Lund as ILFC CFO. [more] Plueger's decision was driven partly by US pay restrictions imposed on AIG and follows less than two months after former CEO and Founder Steven Udvar-Hazy left ILFC (Wall Street Journal, 29-Mar-2010).
