Iberia trials biometric identification project at Madrid Airport

Iberia announced (11-Feb-2021) the carrier's facial recognition project at Madrid Barajas Airport, developed in partnership with Aena, Inetum and Thales, is in line with new sanitary measures implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project uses tablets for biometric identification and eliminates physical contact during airport processes. Inetum supplied integration and Thales the biometric authentication technology.
