IATA says outlook for Latin American countries on the Pacific rim is favourable

IATA regional VP, the Americas Peter Cerda, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) that the outlook for Latin American countries on the Pacific rim including Mexico, Panama and Colombia is favourable. Those countries, he concluded, have pro-aviation regulatory frameworks and "do not impost unreasonable taxes and fees on passengers." Those markets should grow between 3% and 6% during the next couple of years, said Mr Cerda.
