IATA expects aviation recovery in two years, not three

IATA Director General and CEO, Giovanni Bisignani, announced the association has revised its forecast for aviation industry recovery from three years to two, stating that the strength of the economic recovery means the industry is "recovering faster than expectations" (AP, 03-Jun-2010). The "two-speed" recovery is still evident, with areas outside of Europe coming back faster than expected.
